The woman depicted is a representation of the church. She has many parts to her, all working together to make up the whole. She is one bride with many parts. These parts represent the offices and saints that make up the church. Her garments have a pattern like a stained-glass church window to signify there is worship inside of her. The color blue is to represent truth and the white transparent color painted over it is to show the garment she hopes to obtain.
Psalm 46 it is believed to have been only sung by women in King David’s day. I see this as a type and shadow of the church. This Psalm in part is written in the background. This is the bride's song.
46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
